Und jetzt kommen die Kamele

This is a Dutch saying, that doesn't exsist in Germany. It means nothing, and therefore is a source of inspiration. First performed in the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ in may 2006. Including a Korg Electribe drummachine in the line-up. Based on a 4/5 beat and two whole-tone scales, this composition is influenced as much by Debussy as by Dance-music. The concept of 'contrast' in form is explored.
